The idea for “Gallery 13” was born in 2013, when we began searching for and discovering paintings by Bulgarian masters who created and exhibited their works outside the country. The discoveries we made, the stories we learned, and our constant curiosity gradually led to the creation of a network of dealers – initially in the Czech Republic – with whose help we were able to bring hundreds of valuable paintings back to Bulgaria.

Over time, our network of partners expanded, and our interest in fine art continued to grow. Our desire to discover new and unknown works led us to cities such as Paris, Vienna, Rome, Stockholm, Krakow, Berlin, Munich, Madrid, Prague, Buenos Aires and Chicago, from where we managed to acquire previously unknown works by classics such as Alexander Mutafov, Atanas Tasev, Atanas Mihov, Georgi Hristov Rubev, Encho Pironkov, Dimitar Kirov, Georgi Bozhilov, Kiril Buyukliyski, Ivan Mrkvichka, Yaroslav Veshin and many other established names in Bulgarian painting.

Quite naturally, as a result of this inspiration and work, we managed to establish ourselves in the heart of Sofia. Since 2017, anyone who wishes can visit us and touch part of our collection – daily at 13 Tsar Ivan Asen II Street.
